The group typically has a number of undergraduate students (doing final-year projects, or visiting for the summer), PhD students, students associated with the TMCS and Quantum Engineering CDTs, postdocs and visitors.
We are always happy to hear from people interested in theoretical chemistry who might want to join us.
At the moment there no open postdoc vacancies, but there are many fellowship schemes available through which you might be able to secure funding. If your profile is strong and your interests match ours, we will enthusiastically support bids. Examples of suitable funding mechanisms/sources are:
- EPSRC Fellowship
- DFG Fellowship
- Danish Research Council
- Royal Society Newton International Fellowship
- EU Marie Curie
- Royal Commission of 1851 Fellowship
- Leverhulme Trust Award
If you think you might be interested in applying for one of these feel free to get in touch (fred.manby@bristol.ac.uk) to discuss possible projects and the application process.
